Readymix Concrete
Readymixed Concrete is the most widely used construction material in the world. Today practically all concrete is delivered readymixed to site. Concrete is very environmentally friendly and cost effective, it takes less energy to produce a tonne of concrete than many other building materials. Readymixed Concrete is very durable, and is a highly consistent product as it is manufactured to the highest possible standards using our computerised Batching Plants.
The constituent materials used to make our concrete comply with the following standard specifications:
- Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC) complies with the requirements of EN 197-1.
- Ground Granulated Blast Furnace Slag (GGBS) complies with BS 6699.
- Normal weight aggregate complies with the requirements of EN 12620.
- Mixing water complies with the requirements of EN 1008.
- Admixtures comply with the requirements of EN 934.

A fleet of fifteen trucks, four with conveyors supply concrete of all grades from 10N to 60N as well as mortar mixes. Our two fully automated batching plants can batch up to 120m3 per hour. Quality of product is guaranteed under the ISO 9002 Quality Management System for manufacture and distribution of readymix concrete.
Block Making
Block making yard is fully automated, manufacturing a comprehensive range of profiles with an annual capacity of in excess of 5 million blocks. A state of the art batching plant ensures high standards are maintained throughout the production process. The aggregates use for production are sourced locally from our quarry in Ballyhest, thus ensuring consistency of composition of the finished block.
